While World of Warcraft support very limited and basic Bloom lighting (go to the Wetlands while the sun is setting), this mod enables the shader effects that the game is able to support, but Blizzard chose not to (either due to technical limitation, or because they just don't want to). Let Blizzard give the files of the updated graphics overhaul to those that want it. Retail has the current models and everything and its working fine. I have seen private servers with the new models. Some have even offered a toggle for those that want it, but the limitations of the code. So IвЂ™ve posted awhile back about updated models/animations/effects withвЂ¦ Mixed responses mostly вЂњNo.вЂќ вЂњGo back to retail.вЂќ вЂњthe models are ugly.вЂќ вЂњNo changes, slippery slope.вЂќДЇair enough.
